It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful (but unexpected) passing of Karen Ann Leclair on Wednesday December 20th, 2017 with her family by her side. Beloved mother to Elaina Leclair (Adrien Buchwald) and loving aunt to Julann Sawdon and great aunt to Tristan & Aidan. Predeceased by her parents William and Patricia and her siblings: Sydney, Eric, Richard “Dickie” and Linda (Martin Sawdon). She will be missed and remembered by her extended family and friends. For 31 years, Karen worked at the Renfrew County District School Board and touched the hearts of many during this period. Karen was also a lifelong member of Petawawa Presbyterian Church and will be greatly missed by her community. In keeping with Karen’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family inurnment will be held during the Spring in Pembroke, Ontario. Arrangements in care of the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Pembroke.
