Arnold Melcher
Peacefully at Marianhill Residence, surrounded by the love of his family on Thursday August 4, 2022 at the age of 94 years. Arnold Melcher of Pembroke beloved husband for 70 years of the late Vera Melcher (nee Behm). Loved and cherished father of Oral Melcher (Alice) of Rankin, Gail Schryer (Robert), Pembroke and Neil Melcher (Susan), Sherwood Park AB. Loving grandfather to Dwayne (Jennifer), Joshua and Hilary Melcher, Jonathan Melcher, Emily Travanut (Tony) and Stéphane Schryer. Predeceased by infant granddaughter Colleen. Loved by 5 great grandchildren.
Brother of Gladys Lyons (late Joseph), Evelyn Cain (late Hal), Freda Kathen (late Nelson), Marie Brady (John), Kenneth Melcher (Darlene) and the late Ray Melcher (Brenda). Brother-in-law of Verner Behm (Eunice) and step- brother the late Willis Rutz (late Helen). Son of the late Wilfred and Elsie (nee Yanke) Melcher. Sadly missed by all his nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Arnold with his family during visitation at the Murphy Funeral Home, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Monday August 8th, 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday August the 9th at 11:00 a.m. in Grace Lutheran Church, Rankin. Interment Grace Lutheran Cemetery.
