Peacefully at Marianhill Residence Palliative Care with her loving family at her side on Friday November 23, 2018 at the age of 89 years. Doris Maves (nee Kranz), of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Allan Maves. Loved and cherished mother of Barry Maves (Linda), Dunnville ON, Dennis Maves ( late Teresa), Toronto and Tim Maves (Denise), Pembroke. Loving grandmother to Kristopher (Zee), Laura, Sara (Alex), Jonathan and great grandchildren Dorian, William, Roman, Calliope, Lilly, Dallas, Adrian and Ava. Dear sister of Elroy Kranz (Joyce), London, and Diana Gagne (Real), Shelburne ON. Predeceased by sister Sylvia King (late Malcolm) and brothers Rev. Donald Kranz (late Lila), Delbert Kranz (late Doris) and Jack Kranz (late Joyce). Daughter of the late John and Erna (nee Hartwig) Kranz. Sadly missed by all her nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to share their memories of Doris with her family at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Tuesday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday November 28th at 11 a.m. Interment Zion Evangelical United Cemetery.
