STEWART, Earl Wallace
Earl Stewart passed away peacefully at Marianhill on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 in his 94th year. Beloved husband of Teresa Stewart (nee Villeneuve). Loving father of June Gilchrist (John), Lapasse; Dean Stewart (Sherri Mackay), Osceola; Earla Stewart (Keith Prince), Colorado; and, Cindy Hobbins (Brian), Peterborough. Dearly loved grandpa of Derek Faulkenham, Shari Parish (late John), Kara, Tyler and Kelsey Stewart, Ashley Prince, and Jenny Clark (James). Cherished great-grandpa of Chelsea Faulkenham, Damon Riley, and Chloe and Kinlee Clark.
Dear brother of Cora Logan (late James) and Albert Stewart (late Winnie). Predeceased by his parents Wallace Duncan Stewart and Corrine Stewart (nee Matte) and brothers Richard, Robert, James and Edwin Stewart. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Earl was proud to be a career firefighter on the Pembroke Fire Department for 30 years, retiring at age 60 as a Captain. An avid outdoors man, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapping. He worked on his registered zone until he was 84, reluctantly retiring after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
