LeBlanc, Eugene RCAF (Ret'd)
Passed away January 18th,2022 in the Pembroke Regional Hospital in his 88th year. Eugene was born in Wedgeport, N.S. the youngest of 14 children; son of Pius and Erite LeBlanc. Predeceased by siblings Alfreda, Claudia, Marie, Lorraine, Pauline, Louise, Blanche, Percy, Edmund, Edward, Gordon, Hector and Archibald. Survived by his wife Veletta (nee Surette); daughters Cynthia Corriveau (Grant-Deceased) Calgary and Pamela (Larry) Hoffman Kemptville; Grandsons Jed (Katie), Troy (Monika), Lee Corriveau ; Sean and Taylor Hoffman. Great Grandfather to Stella, Eugene and Eleanor. Brother-in-law to Malcolm (Joannie) Gatineau QC and Sister-in-law Joan Surette Yarmouth N.S.; Warren (Joan) Surette Tusket N.S..
Eugene served in the Canadian Air Force as an Avionics Technician for 25 years. Career postings included Metz France, Greenwood N.S., Summerside P.E.I., Bagotville QC working on the Argus Aircraft as well as CF-101 Voodoo Jets and finally as an Instructor on CH47C Chinook Helicopters in Petawawa. Upon his retirement from the Forces, Eugene was employed at Pem-Air Airlines.

Respecting the family's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. A private graveside burial will be held in the Spring.
