Peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, with his family by his side on Sunday January 29, 2023 at the age of 74 years.
Evans Thrasher of Pembroke, beloved husband of Mary Thrasher (nee Nadobny). Loved father of Sarah Thrasher (Yavar), Ottawa and the Late Ronald Thrasher. Step father of Mike Schilkie (Deb), Burlington, Rob Schilkie (Colleen), Petawawa and the late Kevin Schilkie. Loving grandfather to Ben, Allyson, Mariah and Jack.
Dear brother of Judy Hearty (Dale), Helen Donnelly (John) and Lyn Thrasher (Doug). Predeceased by his brothers Alvin (Lorraine), Gary (Jeannette), Ebert (Sandra) and Raymond (Rosemarie). Survived by many nieces and nephews.
Respecting Evans’ wishes, Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date and will be announced.
Interment St. Columba’s Cemetery.
In memory of Evans, donations to the Pembroke Regional Hospital Oncology Unit would be appreciated.
