Passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Friday April 22, 2022 in her 99th year.
Florence E. Cybulski (Etmanski), of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Bronis F. Cybulski. Loving mother of Carl (Joan O’Malley), Suzanne (Gary Coulas), Grace (Tim Brum) and Clare (Bernie Buechman). Predeceased by son Denis (Vicky), Dear sister of Susan Wight of BC.
Proud and loving grandmother to Todd, Tara, Jennifer, Erin, Tony, Meghan, Rebecca and Naomi. Proud and loving great grandmother to 10. Also survived by many nieces and nephews
Daughter of the late John and Clara (Luchasavitch) Etmanski. Predeceased by sisters Kathleen, Agnes and brothers Ambrose and Edward.
Florence became a member of the Catholic Women’s League in 1948. In 2018 she received her CWL 70 year pin as an active member.
Florence loved to travel, read, garden, knit, crochet and play cards. She had been known to visit a few casinos. She was loved for her talent of baking and delicious home cooked meals.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Florence with her Family during visitation at the Murphy Funeral Home, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Sunday May 1 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday May 2 at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 280 Lourdesview Drive Pembroke. Interment St. Columba’s Cemetery.
In memory of Florence, donations to St. Joseph’s Food Bank, Pembroke or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, would be greatly appreciated.
