Peacefully at Marianhill Residence , with her loving family by her side on Monday September 10, 2018 in her 79th year. Freida Gombocz (nee Anderson) of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Joseph Gombocz. Loved and cherished mother of Joanne Andrews (Irvin), Orleans, Kimberly Jarvis (Kimball), Orleans and Kelly Ziegel (Brian), Pembroke. Loving nana to Tyler and Brandon Andrews, Jenna Jarvis, Paul (Alana), Amy and Sarah Ziegel. Dear sister of Ret. Chief Warrant Officer Wesley Anderson (Penny), Ottawa, Patricia Agnew (Tim), Kinmount and Jean Arsenault (Eric), Ottawa. Predeceased by sisters Mary Stevens, Grace Buchanan and brothers Ret. Maj. Dr. Robert A. Anderson , and Allan Anderson. Sister-in-law of Jean Anderson, California USA. Daughter of the late Alton and Anna Mary (nee Traill) Anderson. Freida will be sadly missed by all her nieces and nephews and her best friend Myrna Szambathelyi. Friends are invited to share their memories of Freida with her family during visitation at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Monday September 17 from 10 a.m. until time of a Celebration of her life in the Chapel at 12 noon.
