Gertrude (Gertie) Rosenberger
Peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, with her son Barry at her side on Tuesday November 9, 2021 in her 80th year. Gertie Rosenberger (nee Luckovitch) of Pembroke beloved wife of the late Victor Rosenberger. Loved mother to Barry Rosenberger(Kimberley), Pembroke. Loving grandmother to Christopher (Megan), Jared (Ella) and Noah (Rain) and great grandchildren Lexi and Zoe.
Dear sister to Ambrose Luckovitch (Madeline), Barry’s Bay, Phillip Luckovitch (Theresa), Margaret Bissonette (late Terry), both of Pembroke and Felix Luckovitch (Margaret), Round Lake . Predeceased by her sisters Agnes Lepine (late Earl), Jean Blimkie (late Harvey), Sally Rafuse (late Carl), Catherine Mielke (late Bernard), Lucy Collins (late Pete) and brothers Eddie Luckovitch ( late Jackie), Dominic Luckovitch and Benny Luckovitch as well as her parents Angus and Annie Luckovitch. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to Dr. Savoie, Breanna, Sandy and Doreen and all the nurses of the 3rd Floor Medical of the Pembroke Regional Hospital for their and attention and care shown to our mother.
Respecting Gertie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Grave Side Funeral will be held in the spring in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke and will be announced.
In memory of Gertie, donations to the Lexi and Zoe Education Fund Trust would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Murphy Funeral Home, Pembroke.
