We are saddened to announce the passing of Janet Jones, at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, on Christmas Day December 25, 2022, surrounded by the love of her family, at the age of 85 years. Janet Jones (nee Barber) of Petawawa, beloved wife of the late Thomas Ronald Jones. Loved and cherished mother to Theresa Jones, Kingston and Tracy Betts (James), Petawawa.
Loving grandmother to Rachel Jones, Sophie Jones (Cameron Needham), Corey Betts, Daniel Betts (Amanda), Jessica Easton and great grandchildren Hailey Easton, Brianna Betts, Paislee Betts and Poppy Betts.
Dear sister of Joan Potter and predeceased by brothers Eric and Dennis Barber, sister Pat Leonard, an infant brother and her parents Harry and Alice (nee Chalk) Barber. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews.
Respecting Janet’s wishes cremation has taken place. Final interment in England. A Celebration of Janet’s Life will be held at a later date.
In memory of Janet, donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation or the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.
