It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom, Marguerite Landry (nee Hemphill), at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Thursday October 27, 2022 in her 88th year. She has gone to be reunited with the love of her life of 66 years Colin Landry. Daughter of the late Guy Hemphill and Alice Hemphill (nee Baker). Predeceased by her brothers Jackie, Lloyd and Roy. Survived by her children Nadina Landry (Emile), Dennis Landry and Colleen Lanthier (Sheldon) and by her beloved grandchildren Amanda and Taylor.
Our Mom loved her flower gardens and had an amazing ‘Green Thumb’. She also loved any and all animals, especially her many “fur babies”. You will be missed Mom. She will be missed by her fur baby “Casey” as well.
A very special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Pembroke Regional Hospital for all their kind and compassionate care. A special thank you to her family doctor, Dr. McLachlan and to her PSW’s Elizabeth and Alyssa.
A Private Family Graveside Service will be held on Monday at Wesley United Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ontario SPCA or the Arthritis Society would be appreciated.
