Peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital-General Campus on Wednesday July 20, 2022 at the age of 70 years. Marlene Barras (nee Thompson) of Pembroke beloved wife of David Barras. Loved mother of Trevor Barras (Angelina), Dartmouth, NS and Wade Barras (Melissa), Cornwall. Loved and cherished grandma to Amelia.
Dear sister of Patricia Orticello, Susan Stewart (William), Cathy Thompson (Sheri), Nancy Murphy (Curtis), Robert Kelly, Michael (Lynn), James (Wanda) and predeceased by brother Gordon.
Daughter of the late William and Eleanor (nee Liscombe) Thompson. Sadly missed by all her nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Marlene with her family during visitation at the Murphy Funeral Home 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Friday July 29th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Service will be held the Chapel on Saturday July 30th at 11:00 a.m.
In memory of Marlene donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
