We are devastated that this renowned beauty left us, suddenly, at the age of 67. years old.
Originally from Bosnia, she accomplished her dream of reuniting with her family, in Canada.
Predeceased by her husband Nikola Lukač She is leaving behind her daughter Nina, son in law Greg and her favourite person on this earth, her grandson Connor.
We will take obligation of feeding him, very seriously and making sure he’s wearing his slippers, at all times.
Also, leaving behind, her sister Mileva Bosancic (Ranko), brother Milan Vojnovic, nieces and nephews, predeceased by her brother Ratko Vojnovic (Ljerka) and her parents Jovanka (nee Kreca) and Milosh Vojnovic.
Mira was blessed by a strong vocal cords, which was noticed by all who had pleasure of meeting her. She never met a challenge she didn’t rise to.
She had great zest for life and persevered in most difficult of circumstances, with a great sense of humour. Popular and outgoing, she made friends easily.
Avid Bingo player, self appointed head of neighbourhood watch and a champion cleaner, from a long line of great house keepers.
She possessed sharp mind and a great reasoning ability, which was unfortunate for anyone trying to be less than transparent.
She enjoyed light gossip, knitting, and telling people what to do.
She will be deeply missed, by all who had known her.
She left this world suddenly, due to complications from COVID and a side effects of blood thinning medication.
Cremation has taken place, as per her wishes.
Memorial service will be held at the later date.
Family would like to give thanks to the Staff of Deep River Hospital Acute Care and Dr. Sage, for their compassion and care.
