Nancy Barbara Tosello
Peacefully in the Marianhill Hospice on Tuesday February 8, 2022 at the age of 63. Nancy Barbara Tosello (Young) of Petawawa, wife of Gabriel Tosello, mother of Peter, Timothy (Lauressa), and Natalie. Daughter of the late Donald and Alma Young (Lane), sister of Charles Young (Maureen) and Christina Young (Len Stolwyck).
Nancy was a wonderful and loving spouse and mother, enriching our home. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was always in the middle of the conversation.
Whatever recreational activities Nancy was involved in, she did enthusiastically; cooking, gardening, and quilting.
Cooking was a long time activity and she was always trying out new recipes, leaving behind a wonderful collection in a binder for her children. The dinner menus were never routine and always tasty.
Gardening was always a passion and was saddened that her illness made it physically impossible to do it anymore. Her depth of gardening knowledge was formidable.
Quilting was the latest and greatest passion/obsession taking over large portions of the home. Every bed in the house has one of her quilts and many walls are decorated with her creations, leaving behind memories of her. Used fabric was never thrown away and saved for that special project.
In lieu of flowers, Mass intentions for Nancy would be greatly appreciated either at your home parish or Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Petawawa.
Friends are invited to join with Nancy’s Family for a Funeral Mass on Tuesday February 15 2022, at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Petawawa.
Spring Interment in St. Columba's Cemetery.
