Peacefully at Miramichi Lodge Pembroke on Jul 5, 2022 with his loving family by his side in his 91st year. Terry O’Neill, beloved husband of the late Margaret O’Neill (nee Mulligan).

Loved, cherished and admired father to Margo Virgin (Bob), Renfrew, Wendy O’Neill, Pembroke, Shelley O’Neill-Prescott (Bert), Whitby, Danny O’Neill (Maureen), Fairport New York U.S.A., and Shaun O’Neill (Debbie) Pembroke.

Loving grandfather to Thierry Virgin (Tami), Renfrew, Jason Virgin (Sheelah), Renfrew, Jesse Virgin, Renfrew, Neil Virgin (Shelley), Renfrew, Dallas Virgin (Melissa), Renfrew, Britton Prescott (Taryn), Pembroke, Meaghan Mary O’Neill, Alexandria Virginia U.S.A., Brenna-Rose O’Neill (Andrew Landsman), Boston Massachusetts U.S.A., Terry O’Neill (Shri-Shripriya), Alexandria Virginia U.S.A., Mattie Cheresna (Kyle), Pembroke, Jinny O’Neill (Steve Graveline), Edmonton Alberta.

Loving great grandfather to Leah, Griffin, Tucker, Rosie, Oliver, Clare, Logan and Leah Noelle.

Son of the late Daniel Patrick and Marion (nee Bechamp) O’Neill. Dear brother of the late Cliff O’Neill, Frank O’Neill, Joan Bracken (nee O’Neill) and Patricia O’Neill, and Ronnie O’Neill.

Terry very much loved being involved in the community from sports to service clubs to his time on City Council. He was well respected and admired by everyone he met. Terry was extremely devoted to the city he lived in and all of the people here. His care and concern was shown through his work with Youth Sports Programs, Seniors needs, many service clubs such as Kings Sports and The Rotary Club. He spent 20 years on Pembroke City Council during which time he was involved with the Waterfront Committee and the Culture and Youth Committee among others. Terry’s legacy will also include The Terry O’Neill Silver Stick Hockey Tournament. Terry was Past Grand Knight, Knights of Columbus Bishop N.Z. Lorrain Council in Pembroke. He will be greatly missed by many, especially his family. Thank you to the staff at Miramichi Lodge, especially floor 3B.

Friends and Relatives are invited to attend a Graveside Service that will be held for Terry on Saturday July 23rd at 11:00 a.m. in St. Columba’s Cemetery.

All are invited following the Service to join Terry’s Family for a luncheon and celebration of his life at the Pembroke Curling Club 428 Herbert Street Pembroke
